Clinical comparision of the effect of two mouth washer, chlorhexidine 0.2% and persica,on plaque control, after periodontal surgery(Pesearch)

Aim of this is clinical comparision of the effect of 2 mouth washer, chlorhexidine gluconate 0.2% and Persica, on plaque control after periodontal surgery. Form of the research was splith mouth single blind clinical trial. 66 patient (35 Femal and 31 male) with slowly progressive periodontits were selected. They had almost symmetric 6-7mm pocket depth. Their mean of age was 32, they didnʹt have any systemic disease. Field of examination was canine to second molar and side of test (Control or experimental) was selected randomally. Type of surgery was modified widman flap and patients dismissed without any antibiotics. In experimental group, used Persica, Twice in a day, each time 10cc, for 30 seconds and in control group chlorhexidine glauconate 0.2%, one bothel door, for 30 seconds. After one week, surgical pack removed and patients washed their mouth and then plaque index recorded. Date collected and analysis were done, they showed plaque index decreaserd 1.91 in experimental and 0.97 in control group. There was significant difference (P<0.0005) between groups. Control group had better effect in plaque control, but it produced stain 6.6 times, more than experimental group. plaque control is very important in the healing results. This research, showed chlorhexidine 0.2% mouth washer has significant effect, on plaque control and it is better than Persica.
