Hormoz - Hormuz** (scholarly/research)

The author endeavors to investigate the etymology of the terms Hormuz (name of a port) and Hormoz (proper name). Frequency of usage of these two terms and their continuous application in standard language makes us to think that the difference is limited to the spelling, while etymological surveys in various texts make it clear that the range of difference is wider and the terms come from two different stems.
