Theory of correspondence of subject and object in peripatetic and transcendent philosophy

The main purpose of this paper is to show that how great peripatetic philosophers and theosophers of Transcendent philosophy solved the problem of correspondence of subject and object , and whether their solution is justified or not. There is no doubt the former problem can be raised about different parts of knowledge, i. e. acquired knowledge, knowledge by presence , representations and judgments .But our discussion , here , is confined to acquired knowledge and realm of notions which are related to external things; and in this framework also it is confined to great peripatetic and transcendent wisdom philosophers Therefore , one can say that principle of correspondence of knowledge with its object is taken for granted in view of some Islamic philosophers and it is taken reasonable in view of otheres.For many peripatetic and transcendent wisdom philosophers correspondence of subject and object is quidditative correspondence .But in our belief this solution is not true and mental concepts are images of external things and represent them to some extent.
