Throughout the middle ages, religious thinking have utilized the metaphysic for rationalizing the main concepts of revelation. The modern philosophy doubted in the possibility of so theoric rationalizing. The enlightenment writers reduced the content of religious propositions to ignorance and the logical positivists to meaningless ness But this was not the end.
Contemporary epistemological theories helped religious thinking to present itself like a possibility among diverse interpretation of reality.
