The model for dynamic simulation of distillation column in unsteady state situation is presented This model calculates and shows the changes of the state variables when column is in unsteady state condition by any shock or temporary sudden change in input variahles.lt is useful to study dynamic situation of column, because it is led to the study of quality of product, efficiency of the column and evaluation of different strategies for column control when sudden and temporary shock occurs in some variables. The comparison of this model with another software such as Hysis shows that we can use this model for study of the dynamic behavior of distillation columns. In addition the advantage of this model over the other sot/wares is its detailed tray hydraulics models.
