بررسي تاثير روش هاي غيردارويي در پيشگيري از ترومبوز وريد عمقي در بيماران جراحي اعصاب

This research was a quasi-experimental (clinical trial) study on neurosurgical patients. The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the effects of non Pharmacological methods (Elastic stockings and exercise ) in the prevention of D.V.T in Neurosurgical patients. A total of 90 patients were selected arid divided into two groups (43 control and 47 experimental) randomly_ The age, sex, BM!, kind of surgery and risk factors were matched in the two groups. The experimental group wore elastic stockings just before surgery and exercised (contraction of calves) every 6 hrs postoperatively. The control group didnʹt receive any prophylactic measures. After 72 hrs, Doppler ultrasound and clinical sign examinations were conducted to detect D.V.T. To analyse the data obtained, the chi-square test and also.the test of the proportional differences between two groups were applied. The chi-square test with p=0.047 showed a significant reduction of D.V.T in the experimental group. In conclusion, using elastic stockings and exercise as a combination method reduces D.V.T. up to 14.1%.
