A Study on the Mechanisms of Increasing the Effective Demand in Housing Sector (Case Study: Isfahan Province)

This article aims to study the effective factors in housing demand and to provide the suitable mechanisms for Meaty the housing needs in one of the main Iranian provinces (Isfahan). It uses Ekanem model (1990) to prouide a pattern for Estimate the housing demand. In this pattern the effective factors on housie demand and supply such as household income, the cost of housing, Pure hose power of housing applicants, the role of public sector and participetion of private sector are studied. The following is the summary of the results of the study: The housing demand in urban Communities is more than its supply, the higher cost of housing causes lower effective demand, the purchase power of housing applicants influences their demands, and the fode-off of the role of the public sector causes further Participation of the Pivoted sector.
