فون مگسهاي زير خانواده SYRPHINAE در شهرستان اروميه

Nineteen species of the subfamily Syrphinae were found through the survey conducted during 1994 - 1995 in the Urmia. The following 8 species and 4 genera that are identified by the authors are new records for fauna of Iran and are specified with an asterisks. Melanostoma mellinum (L.) Epistrophe euchroma (Kowarz.) Eupeodes corollae Fabricius, Eupeodes sp. Episyrphus balteatus (De Geer), Ischiodon aegypticus Wiedemann, Dasysyrphus albostriatus (Fallen), Syrphus ribesli (L.), Syrphus vitripennis Meigen., Scaeva albmaculata Macquart., Scaeva pyrastri L., sphaerophoria scripta L. Sphaerophoria rueppelli Wied., Sphaerophoria turkmenica Bankowska., Xanthogramma pedissewuum Harris., Paragus tibialis Fallen., Paragus bicolor Fabricius., Paragus compeditus Wied., Paragus sp. In this article their morphological cahracters and preying habits have been studied. All species are recorded for the first time from Urmia.
