چكيده لاتين :
In this study, the compound 2,2ʹ-diamino-4,4ʹ-bithiazole (DABIT) has been synthesized using Erlenmeyer reaction. The same compound was synthesized also in high yield by microwave. The last synthetic method was more efficient than Erlenmeyer-method.
The oxidation of DABIT were investigated in air, water and methanol by IR, ʹH-NMR and UV
methods. The acidity constant of DABIT according to equilibrium: H(DABIT )+ H + + DABIT has
been determined by potentiometric pH-titration in aqueous solution (25°C, 1=0.1 M NaNO3) at two different concentrations.
The stability constants of the 1:1 complexes formed between Coe Nitʹ or Cue+ and DABIT were determined by potentiometric pH-titrations in aqueous solution (25°C, 1=0.1 M NaNO3). In this regard, the DABIT ligand has a structural unit (N-C-C-N) similar to bipyridine and phenanthroline, hence a similar behaviour is expected which is confirmed by the data reported here.
