بررسي رابطه ويژگيهاي شخصيتي و سبكهاي رهبري مديران

The purpose of this study was to investigate the simple and multiple relationships between the personality traits and the leadership styles of the managers of the public organizations in the city of Ahwaz. The 16 personality factors of Cattel and the three leadership styles of consideration, initiating structure, and participative were correlated. 118 managers selected randomly from the managers of the public organizations located in Ahwaz, participated in this study. 590 of the subordinates of these managers completed LBDQ to provide a measure of these managers leadership styles. The results indicated that out of the 16 personality factors, factor C (Emotionally stable-Sentimental) and factor Q1 (Experimenting-Conservative) were correlated with consideration. Factors L (Suspicious-trusting),. and Q3 (controlled-undisciplined) were correlated with initiating structure, and factors B (Concrete-Abstract), F (Extraversion-Introversion), H (Bold-Shy) were correlated significantly with participative leader-ship style. Using a stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that the factors C(Eemotionally stable-sentimental), A (Cyclothymia-Schizothymia), L (suspicious-Trusting) and Q1 (Experimenting-Conservative) had a significant multiple correlation with consideration. Factors L (suspicious-Trusting) and C (Emotionally Stable-Sentimental) had a multiple correlation with initiating Structure Finally, Factors Q1 (Experimenting-conservative), G (Conscientious-Expedient) and H (Bold-Shy) had a significant multiple Correlation with participative leadership style.
