چكيده لاتين :
computer simulation of the incompressible flow usually faces the problem of the coupling zero velocity divergences with equations of the motions. On the other hand, the absence of the terms representing the physical dissipations in the equations of motion of the inviscid flow usually gives rise to numerical instability. Using unstructured meshes provides great flexibility for modeling the flow in geometrically complex domains. In this work, the Cell Vertex Finite Volume Method is applied for discretizing two-dimensional form of the set of governing equations on triangular meshes. The artificial compressibility technique
is applied to solve the equations of the continuity and motions in a coupled manner. This technique helps coupling the pressure and the velocity field of the incompressible flow problems. Adding a bi-harmonic artificial dissipation term to the discretized formulation compensates the lack of the physical dissipation mechanism of the viscous and turbulence stresses. This term damps the unwanted numerical oscillations and provides favorite convergence with minimum degradation of accuracy. In order to verify the model, computational results has been compared with the analytical solutions of some external and internal potential flow problems. The quality of the results of the developed incompressible inviscid flow solver is demonstrated by its application to simulation of the flow around a circular cylinder and the flow against a flat plate.
