In order to detection of prevalence of persistently infected cattle to pestivirial infection in dairy farms of Tehran aria was conducted on 375 buffey coat samples of upper 3 months ages between Autumn 2001 to Winter 2002. In this study all of the samples were tested by Immunocapture ELISA and direct fluorescent antibody. From 375 tested samples 19 were positive in ELISA (7.4%) and 21 were positive in FA (8.2%). In statistical analysis no significant diference were seen in the results of these tests and in the infection rate in different sexes. This level of infection is highly note able in dairyfarms of this aria.
