چكيده لاتين :
Molten sulfur can be used as an aggregate binder in concrete. At room temperature, sulfur is in stable crystalline rhombic (a) form, consists S8 rings .At around 16"0ʹC, molten sulfur changes to the amorphous (p) form and Ss rings convert to chains of sulfur atoms of different lengths, which after cooling reverts to a -sulfur .After cooling, different size of sulfur in solid and molten form causes porosity in concrete structure and makes it brittle. Sulfur can be modified by reaction with special additives . Considerable percent of modified sulfur does not change to (a) form, after cooling. Sulfur cement can be produced by reaction of molten sulfur with additives. The present invention relates to 7 native additives that provide sulfur cement. Their effects on sulfur properties are considered by some experiments. Among these additives two of them can modify sulfur properties in an acceptable manner. Strength resistances of sulfur mortars by which were made by these two additives can be compared with those, made by "DCPD ". Also corrosion test results of mortars in salty and acidic environment are satisfactory.
