گزارش گونه ي CHRYSOGASTER VIDUATACL. )DIP: SYRPHIDAE( از ايران

During study of Syrphid flies (Dip.) in Marand (East Azarbaijan Province) 3 male specimens of Chrysogaster were collected from Peyam region (South of Marand) and identified as Chrysogaster sp.. Further new literatures reviews proved that this species was Chrysogaster viduata (L., 1758). The name is synonym with Melanogaster nuda Maquart, 1829. This determination was confirmed by Dr. A.V. Barkalova (Zoological Museum, Novosibrisk, Russia). This species is common in Europe and ex- USSR (Ukraine, Caucasus, etc.). The larvae is aquatic. Some important morphological characters of C. viduata are as follows: body length smaller than 5 mm; body black, metallic, lustrous; face in male with developed short median tubercle; eyes in male contiguous; antennae black; 3rd segment short, length not exceeding width; abdomen in upper and middle parts almost glabrous; apical section of M 1+2 extending more or less parallel to alar margin.
