چكيده لاتين :
Three stratigraphic sections form Cretaceous sediments in north Shiraz is studied on base of foraminifera and calcareous algae. In studied sections, Dariyan Formation is composed of limestone strata. Its upper contact with Kazhdumi Formation is disconformably.
Through the lowermost part of Kazhdumi Formation were distinguished calcareous algae such as: Permocaculus irenae, Trinocladus tripolitanus, Dissocladella deserta and Dissocladella undulata acompanied to Orbitolina cornea and Or. subconcave.
Concerning the range zone of Or. Conica, Or. subconcave and above mentioned calcareous algae is concluded that Kazhdumi Formation belongs to Middle Albian - Lower Cenomanian stage. The presence of Knemiceras ammonite also prove the sedimentation phase earliest of Kazhdumi Formation occurs during Middle Albian.
Sarvak Formation is composed of medium bedded brrecia limestone and medium - thick beded gray limestone_ Sarvak Formation limestones in two stratigraphic sections contain planktonic form nifera and one of that bentonic forminifera. On bese of these microfossils, Sarvak Formation belongs to Lower - Middle Cenomanian stage.
