The main objectives of this research article are the followings:
(a) Studying of sulfur - asphalt reaction including investigation of factors such as mixing temperature, sulfur concentration and mixing time on the rheological properties of mixtures.
(b) Effect of sulfur - asphalt on the sulfur - asphalt concrete properties.
(c) selection of the most suitable sulfur concentration for mixing with aggregatesʹ and asphalt.
(d) Evalution of various methods for addition of sulfur to asphalt concrete.
(e) Investigation of the. field test operations ofsulfur - asphalt concrete.
