This article attempts to introduce the Iranian texts discoveredat at Torfan in china, and to show how these texts have been a great help in improving our knowledge of Manichaeism. In this study which is written in the manner of library research, the author first studies the published works on Manichaeism before 1904 A.D., then shows how the archaeological discoveries at Torfan in china have contributed to a profound understanding of Manichaeism. In continuation the language and the script of the Manichean and the method of propaganda of this religion in different lands by its missionaries have been mentioned. Finally the author discusses Manes and his thoughts.
