Study of the Average Menopausal Age and a Comparison of the Prevalence of its complications before and after treatment

This clinical trial study was conducted to de termine the average menu pausal age and the incidence of complications before and after treatment. 200 menopausic women were randomly assigned into two groups according to the theatment schedule. The results indicated that the mean menop ausal age was 48.2 + 3.7. The chi - square analysis also indicated a significant age difference between the two groups. Hot flush, sexual and urinal problems , variations in temperament, bone pains before and after gormone therapy were sighificant in the experimental group; while it was vot significant in the control group. No significant differences were observed three months after the treatment as for menopausal complications; however, the differences were found -to be significant six and twelve months after the treatment between the two groups.
