Turbulent Flame

Some special applications of turbulent flame are discussed here. The effect of turbulence of flame on combustion duration and rate, in internal combustion engines, and on increasing engine power and decreasing exhaust pollution is discussed Also the effects of pressure on flame shape and turbulence scales is evaluated. The structure of methanol pool flame is considered and some discussion concerning averge velocity, disturbance velocity, correlation functions, turbulent kinetic energy and Reynolds number in flame flow field is presented.
