Weed population dynamics were studied in 4 different rotations including fallow -- corn-barley - suger beet, fallow - corn- barley -- bean, fallow- corn- winter barley-corn and fallow- corn- winter barley- fallow using completlely randomized design with 4 replications.Weed soil seed bank were studied two times during the last year of rotation. The first sampling was taken before planting crops at 8/5/2001 (spring) and the second sampling was after harvesting crops at 29111/2001 (fall). The average seed humber in superficial layer of soil (0-20) in fallow-corn-barley-bean was the least and in fallow-corn-barley-fallow it was the highest. The results of crop effect on soil seed bank indicated that the density of seeds present within the field could be influenced by crop species and may be used in integrated weed management as a strategic method using crop growth rate 8 weeks after plantation and canopy Clouser. Such lack of competition resulted in growth rapidness and better utilization of resources.
