An Introduction to Police Authoritative Crime Prevention.

There have been huge investments on crime prevention and the results have been of great importance. Crime Prevention is definitely a national responsibility which calls for the contribution of both governmental and nongovernmental institutions. The public can also play on important role in this regard. According to the scholars of the field, crime prevention is of various types and levels such as situational, and social, and is based on criminal justice system. No doubt, by resorting to the modern approaches and putting all the appropriate strategies into operation, police can play its part well. Police crime prevention- the focus of the present paper has a theme cantradicting intimidation. The focus of such prevention is to be on legality, legitimacy, acceptability, wisdom, and appropriate administration of justice. This paper elaborates on the related concepts and discusses the necessity of the existence of powerful police, the training of which is basically the responsibility of Police University.
