KGB Spies in Iran,A spy parliament member, Ahmad Bani-ahmad.

In order to introduce prominent KGB spies in Iran, "Ahmad Bani-ahmad" is discussed in this issue, based on the available documents in the anti-spy section of SAVAK. Ahmad Bani-ahmad was the representative of Tabriz in National Consultative Assembly in 1978-9. As the public protests against the Pahlavi regime ascended, he exposed himself as a protestor and did some attempts to interpellate the government. But his protests did not go further than conserving and survival of the Pahlavi regime. Bani-ahmad was one of go-betweens for Ayatollah Seyyed Kaazem Shariʹatmadaari, the pro-regime Religious Reference, and the government. The documents show that SAVAK was monitoring his protests and whenever he was going over identified limits, by issuing fake announcements in the name of Tabriz people and revealing his perversion and financial corruptions, has revealed him. In this article while a review on his biography, his activities in 1976-9 is analyzed and finally his spying story is revealed based on some SAVAK documents. These documents tell that his spying name was "Kaamel" in KGB. It is interesting that KGB introduces him as tricky and money & post lover person.
