چكيده لاتين :
Examining the youth subject in Pahlavi era is impossible without considering the "Youth Palace". Paying attention to the youth in this era, like many other fields, is affected by the western culture and blindly following their nonnative experiences. The Youth Palace was also created in this regard. Preliminary studies started during a journey by some people to Europe, USA and Israel and finally resulted in the establishment of complexes that were called the "Youth Palace". The policies which were exercised in these centers were nothing but stability and continuity of the Pahlavi regime in the eyes of the youth. Cultural programmers were hopeful that ʹThe Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults" (Kanoon Parvaresh-e Fekri-ye Koodakaan va Nojavaanaan) would form the childhood and adolescence of Iranian children and the "Youth Palace" their youth; a period that could be problematic for the government because of its political excitements and turbulences. Being entertained by sing and dance, boy and girl companionship in all these and finally being far from politics were among the aims of Youth Palaces for the youth between 20 and 30. However, these palaces during their 12 years life could not attract the middle and lower class youth to accompany with these policies; since by the ascendant of oppositions, this very group of youth joined to the hardliner opponents of the government and tried to overthrow it seriously.
