The 1st Anniversary of Mosaddeqʹs Death in New York.

In March 1967 on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of Dr. Mohammad Mosaddeqʹs deathʹ a ceremony was held in "The House of Iran" (Khaane-ye Iran) in New York, USA. Seyyed Ali Shaaygaan, the speech maker in this ceremony, was a Mosaddeqʹs comrade. SAVAK agents prepared a report and sent it to Tehran. This article is the annotated issue of the same report. The dispute between Shaaygaan and Seyyed Mohammad Baagher Kaashaani, a son of Ayatollah Seyyed Abulghaasem Kaashaani, the religious leader of the oil industry nationalization movement, is the notable point in this report. The questions that were asked by Kaashaani from Shaaygaan during this speech and challenging some of the attempts by Mosaddeqʹs government, such as the social security bill and martial law made tensions and new disputes in the ceremony.
