Liberty in the vieuu point of the Assembly of Constitution Experts.

With the triumph of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the need for a new constitution was emerged. The responsibility of drafting of constitution was given to the Assembly of Constitution Experts for finalizing the constitution of Islamic Republic of Iran. The author in this article with reference to the debates of the Assembly of Constitution Experts and analyzing the debates, divides the paper into two sections: background and text. Then, the author tries to discuss four concepts of liberty: reactive, active, negative , positive. This paper has a hypothesis, which is because of the religious and ideological nature of the Islamic Revolution, the revolution have provided for two kinds of liberty namely active and reactive, which are combined two classic concepts of liberty- positive and negative-, but in practice, has led to the ambiguity and ineffectiveness of all four concepts of liberty.
