The Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Conflict Management Strategies In Educational and Executive Managers of Physical Education Colleges in Iran a Developing Model.

The present study seeks to describe the rate of emotional intelligence (El) and conflict management strategies (CMS) in educational and executive managers of all physical education colleges Iran. It also tries to determine the relationship between these two variables and compare them in this population. In order to gather the data, three questionnaires including Shearingʹs EIQ, Robbinʹs CMQ and mdiuidual traits questionnaire were used. The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between El and control strategy in conflict management (P<0.0001, r=0.4439). No relationship was observed between El and avoidance strategy in conflict management , but there was a significant positive relationship between El and collaboration strategy in conflict management (P<0.0001, r=0.4258).
