Evaluating Aviation Accident and Offering Proper Solutions.

According to the development of aviation industry, today aviation safety improving is of the most importance. In this case, many researches have annually been done to improve aviation safety. But, because of increasing in total accident rate in these years, aviation safety in Iran -specifically in recent decade - is not acceptable. In order to offer solutions regarding to Iran conditions, in this research aviation accidents rate evaluated. The results show that preventing accidents happening and recurrence of accidents happened is a responsibility for everyone in the aviation industry. The main factor which improves aviation safety is safety management system that is used to collect data on accidents, incidents, aircraft defects, airport reports, inspection and surveillance data, etc. All these air safety data/information sources are a key element in the process of preventing accidents since it serves raw materials for safety studies, trend analysis, monitoring, regulations, etc. Also, safety management systems and the equipment that are used in these systems are determined. In addition, in this paper advanced systems and equipments such as advanced cockpit display system, enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS), traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) were recommended for increasing safety in aviation. In Iran, accident rates show that airplane age is an important parameter in accident occurrence.
