A Model for Formulating Productivity Indices in Iran Police.

Services are economical and nonphysical products produced to be used by others. Police is a service organization the productivity of which can not be clarified except by perecise measurment. Such measurent may not be easily performed due to its qualitative nature. Productivity is defined as the value obtained from dividing output to input and is an index for effective use of factors and resources. In measuring the productivity of police in the service section, factors such an efficiency, effectiveness, flexibility, and innovation should be taken into account.
