In todayʹs competitive world, quality plays an important role in capturing the market and quality improvement is considered as one of the main reasons for matching and surpassing the competitors. In other words, quality improvement can help companies to gain a bigger share of the market. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is one of the tools that have been used lately by different companies to design the customer requirements into the products or services. In this paper, a new method for prioritization of the customer requirements considered in the first table of QFD is proposed. Based on the ranking of alternatives, the importance of customer requirements are determined. A real world example is used to explain and evaluate the performance of the proposed method. The results are also compared to traditional methods such as Analytical Hierarchy Process and Comparative Attribute Analysis which are usually used for prioritization purposes.
