Some Considerations on Codicology: Manuscripts and the editing Method of Azraqi e lleraviʹs Divan

The paper is a codicological _;) study of the Divan c Azraqi. Explaining, first, the preparation difficulties, the paper, then, offers adescriptive and historical study of the manuscripts, and a comparison with the seventh century ones, to determine the authenticity of the other manuscripts. Second, the paper introduces the seven century manuscripts followed by the introduction of four more manuscripts belonging to the ninth, tenth and eleven centuries. In the next part, the paper gives a critical review of the previous editions of the Divan e Azraqi Hcravi. Finally, the paper offers reasons and justifications leading to a suitable method of editing the Divan e Azraqi, relying on the aforementioned manuscripts. Further more, the paper describes the the selection priorities and the way each manuscript helped in solving the problems and reaching a refined text of the Divan e Azraqi Heravi.
