چكيده لاتين :
Efficiency and effectiveness of any organization directly depends on merit and competence of managers and the staff. Meanwhile, taking advantage of qualified administrators with specific characteristics, skills, essential knowledge and information are very important.
Therefore, selecting qualified people has been a critical necessity in organizations.
Managersʹ Assessment and Improvement Center has been used as a new approach in the matter of managersʹ capabilities recognition, selection and promotion, in most developed countries and leading organizations. Therefore, this article reviews the concept, objectives, tasks and process shaping assessment centers and it also pays to features measured and capabilities measurement methods and capabilities of these centers.
Then, the principles, procedures, operational process of starting Assessment and Improvement Center are listed. In the final section of the paper, some applications of Assessment and Improvement Center in police and security organizations are mentioned.
