Comparison of the effects of formulated diet by traditional method nod scientific methods on the performance of Afshari male feed lot lambs

In order to study the effects of two feeding methods (scientific and traditional) on average daily gain, dry matter Intake, feed conversion ratio, metabolizable energy consumption per weight gain and protein consumption per weight gain an experiment by 48 Afshari lam male bs were used to an experiment which was conducted in a completely randomized Design with 3 experimental groups 16 replications and each replication placed in a single cage. Lambs were raised for 100 days in Torbat Hidariye in 1384. Experimental diet 1,2 and 3 were consisted of NRC (1986), ARC (1980) and traditional diet. Results did not show a significant difference in examined traits between number 1 and 2 diet (p>0.05). But the results suggested a significant improvement of scientific methods in CP utilization efficiency, ADG, DMI and FCR in comparison with the traditional diet (p<0.05).
