The location and distribution of public libraries across Ahwaz city

The location and distribution of public libraries across cities are among one of the main factors effecting peopleʹs use and willingness toward these libraries. This research focuses on the present location of public libraries in Ahwaz city, taking into account their "centrality" and "consistency", uses the Geographical Information System (GIS) for the analysis of data. Moreover, in order to build new public libraries in the region, some suggestions regarding the better location of such libraries are recommended
