Cultural Self-Evaluating: Innovative Approach to Cultural Ascendency

Cultural engineering is a new concept which is discussed in cultural strategic management of the country in recent years. Having importance of this concept in political and economic issues, expanding of social values and consent of citizens etc, this article dedicated to describe and explain Cultural engineering (as a metaphor in cultural strategic management) and cultural self evaluating concepts. This article has three parts. The first part studies the dimensions and functions of cultural engineering metaphor. The second part is a critical approach to the concept from the standpoint of malfunctions and weaknesses of the concept. The last part is dedicated to explain the new concept of Cultural Self evaluating role in planning of cultural ascendency map of the country.
