A study an the Industrial Cluster Modeling Based on UNIDO Approach for SMEs (Case study: Tabriz Auto parts Manufacture agencies)

This study aims at investigation the structure of small and medium sized employment agencies for auto parts manufacturing industry, and determining the inter relationships among these agencies and the suppliers, market and financial institutions creditors, research and development agencies within the framework of industrial cluster, in order to develop a prototype cluster model. This research deals with a chin analysis of the manufacturing processes evaluation ascertainment of matrix strength point weaknesses opportunities and threats, through a diagnostic study of the cluster and the application of data gathering techniques such as questionnaires interviews observation and the visual measurements of data. Then a proposed cluster model for Tabriz Auto parts Industry, using UNIDO cluster modeling tools is designed and presented. The findings to reach their full potential due to the lack of group cooperation in manufacturing and marketing of the products under a common brand. This was partly due to improper inner business relationship among the manufacturers, insufficient mutual understanding between the company and the suppliers, market and service providers and .also , the lack of any scientific and research programmers. If the company owners and the managers of the agencies put their business within the framework of industrial cluster strategies and show positive willingness to observe the processes a recovery from the current situation will be possible within a 3-4 year period The presented cluster model can be implemented for other cluster groups with some modifications.
