چكيده لاتين
Arthur Miller, one of the greatest playwrights of the twentieth century, has
done different jobs during his life time. He has been familiar with the lives
of ordinary people in his society and he has always been interested in low
class and middle class people of his society. He not only uses techniques
like those of Eugene OʹNeill and Henrik Ibsen, but also talks about those
ordinary people of the society who do not lose their moral values in the
most desperate situations. That is to say, in Arthur millerʹs plays, the
nuclear explosion appears "ethical" rather than "aesthetic," such being the
moral energy of his plays. For him, what is really important is the humanity
of man and the theater of the mind he projects is the theater of mankind and
his primary impulses are purely ethical. His entire work may be summed up
as an attack on what he calls "the fortress of unrelatedness." The writer of
this article studies the characters of Arthur miller and the moral vision the
playwright presents in his plays
