Comparative Study of New Towns Locating in Tehran Metropolis, Case Study: Andishe, Parand, Hashtgerd

New towns, as a new experience in urbanization system ofIran, are solutions for solving of urban problems but they havenʹt acceptable successes. There are many reasons for this such as, mainly, failure in locating process. Now, after two decades of locating and coustruction processes have been necessitates study this processes. This paper, study evaluation locating properties of three new towns in Tehran metropolis (Andishe, Parand, Hashtgerd) as a case study by SWOT Model. Conclusions show that in category of locating, Hashtgerd is a better experience than Andishe and Parand but almost new towns of Iran have very problems from locating specially in tectonic, soil, topography, water source dimensions ....
