چكيده لاتين :
In this paper, performance of a turbocharger twin-entry radial inflow gas turbine in steady state and under full
and partial admission conditions is predicted theoretically as well as experimentally. Experimental investigation
is performed by using special facilities for testing the twin-entry radial turbine under full and partial admission
conditions and for a wide range of speed. Numerical analysis is in accordance with one-dimensional modeling of
flow and empirical loss coefficients of different turbine elements. In addition, this method is developed for partial
admission condition. Comparison between experimental and modeling results indicate quite good agreements.
A remarkable point in results is that the maximum efficiency of twin-entry turbine occurs in partial admission
conditions in which the shroud side mass flow is higher tban the bub side one.
