چكيده لاتين :
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of mental practice
training on motor skills achievement of blind student .the statistical
society included all of the boy students in grade 2 of blind guidance
schools in Tehran in 1385-86.the sample consisted of 20 students with
random sampling method were chosen. This study was experimental with
control group and random assignment. The instruments were Lincoln
ozeretski motor scale and vividness of movement imagery questionnaire
(VMIQ). The training lasted eighteen 30-minutes session along 6 weeks
and a follow-up test was carried out after one month. For analysis,
descriptive and inferential statistical (analysis of variance with repeated
measures) were used.
The results showed that:
I. The students who had received mental practice training gained
significantly higher scores in motor skills than those with no
training.
2. After one month, the trained group had a significantly better
performance than those with no training.
3. Those with mental practice training gained significantly better scores
in motor imagery than those with no training.
