Barriers of Research Performances in the View of Nurses and Midwives of Shahr-e-Kords Hospitals

Introduction: The nursing profession has long recognized the importance of performing researches as an essentiality of its task. More scientific knowledge can be obtained to improve the care provided by nurses and the health care systems. This research has been performed to determine the barriers in the way of doing researches as considered by nurses and midwives working at Shahr-e-Kords hospitals. Materials & methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study , the instrument for data collection was questionnaire. These questionaires were provided on the basis of valid scientific sources & liqurt scales. For data analysis, the T-test and Chi-square test were used. Findings: Out of the 300 questionnaires distributed among nurses & midwives, 238 ones (73.9%) were received back.
