چكيده لاتين :
The present study compared the mental health and social adjustment of
three groups of female intellectually gifted students in three different
educational settings in middle and high schools in Tehran (talented,
special and regular schools). For this purpose 94 gifted students (grades 7
& 10) randomly selected and were asked to complete the Wiener Matrizen
Test fuer Iran (WMTI) and Mental Health Inventory (MHI) as well as
Matson Evaluation of Social Skills with Youngsters (MESSY). Statistical
analysis of data indicated no significant differences based on their mental
health and social adjustment between three groups in three educational
settings. However, the data revealed that the participants from the three
different settings possessed high scores in mental health as well as social
adjustment.
