چكيده لاتين :
It is assumed that the use of Iranian local silkworm groups for production of commercial hybrids, because of their fitness and adaptation to local environmental conditions can contributed improvement sericultural industry through cross breeding of local and commercial strains. In order to investigate and recognition of ten commercial hybrids performance, that they had been obtained by crossing between five Iran local groups of silkworm; including: Khorasan-Pink, Khorasan-Orange, Khorasan-Lemon, Guilan-Orange and Baghdad with two breeded races including 107 and 110. An experiment was conducted by: "10 treatments (hybrids) with 5 replicants by using Compelet Randomized Model Design(CRD) in autumn, 2004. Silkworm larvae reared under standard conditions. Then, all the data were recorded analyzed after harvesting of cocoons. The results showed that in relation to some characters such as produced cocoon number, best cocoon number and middle cocoon number, Guilan- 0rang*107 hybrid respectively with 269.8. 220.28 and 35.4 cocoons and then Guilan-Orangxl 10 with 276.7, 208.2 and 37.0 cocoons Showed highest performance among total hybrids(P<0.05). Therefore Guilan-Orange has high genetical potential. The Baghdad*107 hybrid in relation to produced cocoons weight(356.1gr), best cocoon weight(1.702gr), shell cocoon weight(0.327gr) and weight cocoon of 10000 alive larvae (15.58kg) had and also Khorasan-Pink* 107,Baghdad* 107 and Khorasan-Orang* 107 hybrids in relation to shell cocoon percentage with 19/80%, 19.34% and 19.52% respectively had the higher performance among other hybrids (P<0.05). Therefore the recognition of genetical potential of local silkworm groups is need for improving the performance of breeded silkworm races that would maintenanced at sikworm germplasm bank
