چكيده لاتين :
Due to importance of FCC process in converting heavy oil fractions to valuable products, in this study, hydrodynamic of gas- solid fluidized bed in FCC riser at unsteady-state conditions and 3 dimensions were simulated applying CFD techniques. An Eulerian model was used for both phases that comprises of continuous and momentum equations for gas and solid phases as well as an equation for solid granular temperature. Since catalyst volume fraction is very low dispersed, turbulence model was used for turbulence investigation. Governing equations were solved by numerical finite volume method. The distribution of volume fraction of each phase, air and catalyst velocity, and pressure profile in riser were computed. The simulation results indicate that distribution of catalyst volume fraction in riser cross section is not uniform and is affected by secondary air flow. Also results showed that velocity profile of air and catalyst particles are fully developed in the riser.
