VIRTUALNESS SCHOOL: A NEW THINKING FRAMEWORK IN THE FIELD OF STRATEGY SCHOOLS AND STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

Adva nces in information and communica tion technology (leT) provide a good sit uation for spreading virtual organi zations. T he existing virt ual enviro nment has forced managers to change the form of manufactu rin g from traditional to virtu al. From one point of view, manufacturing in virt ual organizations has ca used a red uction in investment costs and th e t ime for produ cing new pro duct s. From anot her point of view, it has created new core compe tencies for organizations in a globa l compe titive environment . How will the formation of st rategy in new vir tu al space be? Will exist ing strategy schoo ls be qualified for th e new space? This paper aim s to descr ibe a sur vey on new orga niza tional developm en t und er the ti tle of "vir tua l organizations" a nd their charac te ris tics, as well as strategy schools and, then , pro poses a new school of st rategy forrnation und er th e title of "virtu alness school" .
