Estimation of Emission and Social Costs of Air Pollutant and Greenhouse Gases in Bandar Abbas Refining Company

Sustainable development of energy sector plays a vital role in improving social, economical and environmental conditions. So that by considering this issue, environmental damages due to air pollutant and greenhouse gases would be decreased. Since most of environmental concerns regarding energy are related to air pollution, in this paper, first with Screen3 Software, we have estimated the amount of pollutants emitted from burning fuels (natural gas, furnace oil and gas oil) in Bandar Abbas Refining Company and then the effects on the environment and the social costs of these gases in terms of million Rials are estimated by an Energy and Environment software development in [ran. This method can be used in E1A (Environmental Impact Assessment) studies and monitoring, and thus reducing social costs due to pollutant and greenhouse gases of Bandar Abbas Refining Company.
