An Educational Approach to the Management of Digital Libraries

Although the concept of "digital library" was first introduced in early 1990s, it is considered as a center for collecting and producing different information resources and a place for communication between experts, librarians and users. Therefore, library managers study the efficient methods for managing J digital libraries. Without considering issues such as content management, ^ accessibility management, and security management, this paper employs an IX educational approach to study the two main factors described in the Digital ^ Library Federation: staff (librarians) and users. The article points out some J skills, educational programs and required qualifications. It also mentions ^ some requirements for developing a digital library user interface.
