Analysis of Electoral Attitudes; Case-Study of the Ninth Presidency Election

Analysis of election is tied with some factors that shape the electoral attitudes. Among the different views of analyzing electoral attitudes, some views emphasize the importance of party identity and usual devotions; some views emphasize the importance of group membership and social ranking; some views are based on rational election and computation of personal benefits; and according to some perspectives personal choices are formed by ideological management and control. By a case-study of the ninth presidency election, the writer of the present article will try to analyze electoral attitudes in the Islamic Republic or Iran, especially in the present decade, according to the theory of rational selection.
