The Goals and Principles of Islamic State in Haj Nurullah Isfahaniʹs and Imam Khomeinis Views

One of the very crucial points of concern to those analysts discussing the Islamic revolution is the Imam Khomeiniʹs leadership. Many of these analysts, due to their incomplete knowledge and partial understanding of the Islamic revolution, have claimed the project of Islamic State - as the goal of the Islamic revolution -to be too idealistic and obscure, viewing it as a populist movement. In this article, the writer has comparatively studied the goals and principles of Islamic State from Imam Khomeiniʹs viewpoint and that of Haj Nurullah Isfahani with his written works and copious practical activities, to show that the project of Islamic State is not an unprecedented and obscure one. Rather, it has copious theoretical and even practical precedents. Therefore, it is impossible to ignore - through these false claims - the intellectuality of this movement and its long intellectual and doctrinal background.
