Family Drawing Test on Hurt Children in Barnʹs Earthquake

The disasters like earthquake can influence negatively on children mental health and devel­opment, even cause delay in their development. In Dey, 1382 a destroyer earthquake happened in Bam that lead to destruction mental and phys­ical hurt to Barnʹs citizenship. This article studies the result of family drawing test on children who were hurt in the earthquake. So 41 girls and 22 boys (n= 63), resting in Almahdi camp were selected by accessible sampling and were tested by family drawing test. To investigate the effects of being in the earthquake, loosing one of the family members and sex on Depression, Anxiety, Regression, Aggression and low self-esteem, was used U-Manvitny. Findings showed that boys represented strongly symptoms in Depression, Regression, Aggression and low self-esteem in comparison with girls. Children who experienced the earthquake just showed significant different in Aggression. Loosing one of the family members wasnʹt significant variable. It seems that hurt boyʹs from earthquake showed more maladaptive symptoms compared to girls. Being in earthquake is the effective fac­tors to increasing aggression and exercising anger after trauma.
