An study ofHistorical Ties between Iran & East Africa

Iranian people and those of Africa have had intimate relationship over the last three thousand years, and they benefited from it greatly. Before the emergence of Islam, due to the capability of Iranʹs Empires, relations of Iran, and Africa were developed. After the rise of Islam, relations developed to contain commercial as well as cultural and political aspects. Allen Informs that Iranʹs authority must be seen within the Safavid Empire. However Iranʹs Imperial Power began to wane due to the presence of western and Arab invaders . During the Qajar era efforts were put to action and a group of artists were sent to Africa. Ties were further strengthened by the marriage of Sltun Said with an Iranian princess. Efforts were made during Pahlavi Era too, but with the concentration on the North of the continent. In sum, relations between Iran and Africa Marked Vicissitudes over Pahavi Era.
